Perhaps you are experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety or depression, trauma or struggling to hold your boundaries. Maybe you are repeating the same old patterns that no longer work for you, or simply feeling you are not living the life you want to lead. I am passionate about understanding you as a whole person and assisting you in developing a meaningful relationship with yourself to work towards what is important for you. I believe in the importance of processing early life experiences to move you towards healing from trauma, grief, anxiety and depression. I believe wholeheartedly that doing this work can set you free and I would be honoured to be with you on this journey.
A somatic psychotherapist committed to helping you connect with the deep interplay between your mind and body. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that shape your life, guiding you toward clarity, healing, and a path that truly resonates with you.
Somatic Psychotherapy is a deeply transformative and gentle approach that blends mindfulness with body awareness, creating a space where true healing can unfold. By connecting with the body, we tap into a powerful source of insight and self-discovery, allowing us to access deeper emotional states and uncover unconscious patterns that shape our lives.
Through a loving and supportive presence, I guide you in exploring your inner experiences, helping you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. This holistic approach fosters a profound understanding of yourself, paving the way for healing past wounds and embracing personal growth. Therapy becomes a sanctuary where you are seen, understood, and supported on your journey to wholeness.
Hakomi is a body-centred psychotherapy that integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and gentle inquiry to explore the subconscious patterns influencing a person’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It emphasises the importance of the client’s experience and fosters a safe environment for self-discovery and healing. By bringing awareness to bodily sensations and emotions, Hakomi helps individuals uncover and transform deeply held beliefs and traumas. Ultimately, this therapeutic approach aims to promote greater self-awareness, personal growth, and emotional well-being.
Reaching out to a therapist can be a big step, and I’m here to support you through it. Whether you’re dealing with feelings of anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma or simply feel that you’re not living the life you’re meant to lead, I’m here to help you understand what’s happening and where these feelings might be coming from.
When you contact me, we’ll set up an initial appointment to talk about what you’re looking for and explore the difficulties you’re facing. This first meeting is a chance for us both to see if working together feels right. It’s important that you feel comfortable and that my approach resonates with you.
There’s no obligation to continue after our first meeting. If we both feel that this is the right path, we’ll discuss setting up regular sessions to continue the work together. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you navigate your healing journey.
You are so present, attuned and warm. I felt safe and supported. Really grateful for your loving presence.
JudyAmanda holds a very dear space in my heart as a trusted and respected peer. We worked closely together throughout Hakomi training and i feel so much gratitude for the loving presence and space she created between us to facilitate my own deep processes.
